Is assistant professor of veterinary toxicology at Université de Montreal. He received a DVM degree from Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar, and a Ph.D. degree in Toxicology from University of Toulouse. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research INRA-Research Center in Food Toxicology. His research is centred on the effects of natural exposure to mycotoxins (chronic, low doses, and multi- exposures) on the human and farm animal health, by using in vitro, ex-vivo and in vivo approaches. Recently his work focused on omics-based characterization of the subclinical exposures to Fusarium mycotoxins, and their combined toxicity assessment. Current interests include efficacy assessment for mycotoxin deactivation approaches.
