Dr. Hans Mol is senior scientist at Wageningen Food Safety Research (WFSR), part of Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands. He has more than 20 years of experience in mycotoxin and plant toxin analysis. He is deputy head of the European Union Reference Laboratory (EURL) for mycotoxin and plant toxins in food and feed. He is convenor for CEN/TC 327/WG 5 on natural toxins in feed. The focus in his current research is on mass spectrometry-based instrumental analysis, analytical quality assurance and quality control, and exposure assessment through food/feed monitoring and human biomonitoring.
